2nd Westerwald Industry Colloquium

As a sponsor of the Westerwald Industry Colloquium 2025, we were delighted to be part of an event that focused on the future of the ceramics industry. On 12 and 13 November 2025, the German Ceramic Society invited experts to the Ransbach-Baumbach town hall to discuss digitalization, artificial intelligence and process optimization. The presentations and discussions offered exciting insights into:

• the use of AI in the process industry,
• Strategies for increasing efficiency and quality assurance,
• and the opportunities of digital transformation.

For us at Drache, the colloquium was a valuable opportunity to intensify the exchange with industry partners. One key conclusion: collected and correctly structured data is the key to using artificial intelligence in a targeted manner for process optimization.

The event once again showed how important the dialog between industry and research is in order to master the challenges of the future together. We look forward to continuing along this path and providing impetus for innovation and progress in the future.
