The company shifts its focus fully onto ceramic foam filters for aluminium DC casting as well as aluminium, iron, and steel foundries
The roller kiln for casthouse filter production was successfully put in operation
Expansion of production with a new factory building for the design and production of fused silica parts and corresponding systems such as filter boxes and launder systems

Another PV system with an impressive output of 306 kWp with 806 modules is being installed on the roof of Hall 1.

Continuous development
To provide you with the highest quality standards, we constantly develop our own products further, in collaboration with institutes and research facilities. As early as 1989, we introduced the original duplex filter, which combines two porosities in one filter. Other established in-house developments include the Ceralu® Al2O3 filter, the Cerazirk ®ZrO2 filter, the Cerapor® LDNG filter, and the Cerasic® SiC filter.
In the area of pre-cast ceramic shapes, Drache Fused Silica and Fused Silica Fine are two of our proven solutions. These materials are also manufactured in-house.
Future-oriented company
As a future-oriented company, it is important to us that our customers and working staff be treated with respect. A sustainable treatment of the environment and its resources is a top priority for us.
Emission and noise-level measurements are performed on a regular basis to protect the health of our employees and ensure compliance with German and European directives.
We are responsible and energy-efficient in our work. For Example, we use the excess heat of our large furnaces for other processes. Two large photovoltaic systems were installed in 2022 and 2023. We are thus setting a strong example for climate protection and resource conservation.
