In addition to the two in-house developments – Drache Fused Silica and Fused Silica Fine – Drache also provides other refractory materials, primarily to be used in Aluminium casting.

Special characteristics:

  • SiC-based for parts which require a very high abrasion resistance
  • Al2O3-based material for parts with very long contact times with liquid aluminium, like deep-bed filter liners
  • Other, custom-requested materials can be used on request
